Job Opportunity: CMM Mitutoyo Inspector
Location: Edinburgh
Pay Rate: £12.50 - £14.82 per hour
Shift Pattern: Day shift (8:25 AM - 5:05 PM, with some flexibility)
We are currently seeking a CMM Mitutoyo Inspector to join our client, a reputable company in the manufacture of microwave communications equipment. The role involves inspecting metalwork and component parts for both incoming and outgoing products.
CMM Inspector Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect metalwork and component parts used in microwave communications equipment.
- Carry out quality control inspections at various stages of production using CMM machines and traditional measurement methods.
- Conduct visual checks and take precise measurements to ensure product conformity.
- Manage non-conformances and work closely with production teams to resolve any issues identified.
- Record observations and provide recommendations to improve manufacturing processes.
CMM Inspector Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience with CMM inspection and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with industry-standard practices and procedures.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under supervision, with some scope for creativity and independent judgement.
