  • Develop and control build standards for vehicles, ensuring consistency across all product stages.
  • Establish and maintain configuration control processes to manage changes and ensure traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee the integration of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules and PLM systems to support product development and manufacturing.
  • Ensure effective synchronization between Oracle-based systems and PLM to manage part numbers, bill of materials (BOM), and design changes.
  • Implement continuous improvements in the use of Oracle and PLM systems to increase efficiency and accuracy in baseline and build management.
  • Manage the change control process, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring timely and accurate updates to baselines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to assess the impact of changes on configuration baselines and build standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain to ensure alignment on configuration and build standards.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on configuration management tools and processes.
  • Serve as the point of contact for audits and reviews related to baseline and configuration management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer contracts related to configuration management and build standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of baselines, build standards, and related processes.
To apply for this role, you will require the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
A background in mechanical, automotive, or aerospace engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in configuration management, product lifecycle management, or a related field, preferably in defense, automotive, or aerospace industries.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle ERP systems and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
  • Familiarity with configuration management principles (CMII, ISO 10007, or equivalent). Experience managing baselines and build standards for complex systems, ideally armoured or defense vehicles.
  • Knowledge of defense industry regulations, including ITAR, ISO standards, and military specifications.
  • Experience with vehicle manufacturing or large-scale systems integration projects.
  • Certification in Configuration Management or PLM systems (e.g., CMII, PMP).
