What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Library Manager to run the school’s library and learning resource centre.

The key focuses of this role will be to:

• be responsible for the day to day running and organisation of the library provision and resources
• ensure the library is stocked with relevant and engaging texts for the school’s context
• ensure the space is managed as a vibrant learning resource that helps to promote a love of reading and literacy to students.
• work alongside the Literacy Lead (and where appropriate the English department) in promoting reading and relevant actions that support the school’s literacy strategy
• advise and guide students in their choice of reading materials
