An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Peer Trainer to form part of our newly developed Milton Keynes Recovery College. The role will be supported by our Milton Keynes Recovery & Wellbeing College Clinical Trainer & Deputy Manager and Milton Keynes Lead Advanced Lived Experience Practitioner.

The post will be based at Queensway Clinic in Milton Keynes and will support with the in the co-production of design and delivery, of a range of recovery focussed courses and workshops for service users and their supporters and staff.

The post holder will support the delivery of high quality, educational opportunities, that deliver a range of recovery focussed courses and workshops for service users, their supporters/carers and staff, whilst demonstrating a commitment to ensure co-production, personal recovery principles, inclusion and diversity are retained.

There will be an opportunity to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to promote, develop and embed the principles of recovery orientated practice across the organisation, as well as developing relationships with partner agencies and local communities.

The post holder will act as an ambassador of recovery for the Trust alongside others, through positively sharing and drawing upon aspects of own lived experience, to inspire others, challenge stigma and discrimination and promote recovery.
