Crynodeb

1. To provide effective clinical leadership, contributing to the strategic development of the East of England Endoscopy Training Academy. 2. To contribute to the vision of the East of England Endoscopy Training Academy and to enhance patient care by providing leadership and direction with respect to the quality of education and training in endoscopy. 3. To be an advocate and positive role model on behalf of EoEETA, promoting leadership that inspires, motivates, and empowers all staff, and demonstrates the values of the NHS. 4. Build and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including endoscopy networks, NHSE teams, Academy hub and spoke teams and faculty, professional bodies regionally and nationally. 5. Act as a subject matter expert for all Academy deliverables within the EoEETA utilising advanced practical and theoretical knowledge in a range of work procedures and practices, to drive forward and implement NHS Englands objectives and vision for the future of workforce education. Utilise specialist knowledge acquired over a period within multiple disciplines within Endoscopy, to progress Endoscopy education within the regional workforce. 6. To work and coordinate locally with key groups and stakeholders including NHS England (NHSE), to attend and host events across the East of England region, to develop key liaisons and to ensure effective local engagement and responsiveness in line with the culture of the NHS. 7. Collaborate and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to deliver system wide workforce transformation, with awareness of impact across the region. 8. To review how multi-professional healthcare teams interact and utilise advanced knowledge within Endoscopy to identify opportunities for different healthcare professions to work more effectively together through education and training. 9. To work with providers and others to support and capture innovation locally and ensure national and local conversations develop best practice. Use a collaborative approach and influencing style of working and planning skills, to negotiate with others to achieve the best outcome and provide an effective and quality service. 10. Utilising advanced knowledge of Endoscopy, ensure delivery of the Endoscopy specific aspects of the NHSE mandate through local initiatives and programmes.
