Crynodeb
Our client on the outskirt of Lincoln is looking for Potato Graders to join their team in a seasonal position.
Transport will be required due to the location of the site.
In this role you will be required to assist with the harvesting and picking of potatoes and preparing them for distribution.
Duties will include:
• Weed potato fields during harvest either by hand or with a tool
• Sort potatoes - stand beside a moving conveyer belt and picking out damaged potatoes and other materials such as clods, stones and stalks
• Cut rotten potatoes to ensure they are not packed, and quality standards are met
• Keep the line clean and clear of debris
• Pack the potatoes by size and weight according to the requirements ready for shipment
Hours are 8am to 8pm. The client is open 5-7 days a week so will be put on a schedule to ensure all requirements are covered.
Pay is £11.44 per hour.
