Job Title: Aircraft Supervisor - Chinook Hanger Manager
Location:
RAF Odiham, England, South East England, Hampshire
Job Type:
Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:
• Oversee the daily operations of the aircraft hanger
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Coordinate aircraft maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of work
• Allocate resources efficiently and maintain inventory of necessary supplies
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed
• Communicate with upper management to report on progress and address any issues
Required Qualifications:
• Experience in a supervisory role within the aerospace or aviation industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Education:
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Aerospace Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and management
Knowledge and Skills:
• Understanding of aircraft systems and components
• Proficiency in project management and resource allocation
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the aviation industry
• Strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Additional certifications in aircraft maintenance or management
• Experience working with a variety of aircraft models
Working Conditions:
• Fast-paced environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery
• Frequent interaction with team members and upper management
• Potential for travel to other locations as needed
