We are KSW Engineering Ltd, we have been established for over 40 years as a leading sub-contract machining and clad welding facility supplying critical and complex components (predominantly) to the global energy sector.
With the help of more than 50 highly skilled employees working at our location in Glenrothes, we have a prestigious customer base that has a high demand for the services we provide.
We are looking for various CNC Machine Operators.
The successful candidates must be experienced and capable of working on their own initiative on large and complex parts.
Positions available:
- CNC Turners (Mazak Controls)
- CNC Milling (Mazak Controls)
- CNC Horizontal Boring (Fanuc Controls)
These are full time positions working various shift patterns of 39 hours (Monday to Friday).
Dayshift: Mon-Thu 08:00-17:00 & Fri 08:00-13:00
Nightshift: Mon-Thu 21:30-08:00 with 07:00 Finish on Friday morning
Core responsibilities
These are pivotal roles within the business and as such only people experienced with the following will be considered:
- Setting & Operation of CNC Machines
- Full understanding of CNC programming
- Full understanding of Quality requirements within facilities like KSW
- Knowledgeable about the various high value materials being machined along with tools, speeds & feeds used to do so.
As mentioned, these positions are for highly skilled operators only and as such it is expected that little training will be required of the applicants.
