Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Healthcare supplier based in Castle Donnington. We are currenty recruiting a for a number of experienced LLOP Drivers/Warehouse Operatives to work in a new warehouse alongside their well-established team.
About the Company
Our client is a market leader in healthcare product distribution who have just moved into their new distribution facility in the Castle Donnington area which means lots of positions as the company continues to expand and chances for people to progress as this company believes in promoting from within.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced LLOP FLT drivers to work on a stable afternoon shift (14.00-22.30 Monday to Friday), to work in a busy warehouse environment moving, storing, and picking stock. In this role you will be required to operate a LLOP as well as manual duties around the warehouse.
Pay & Benefits
• £23,796 to £26,133 per annum (overtime paid at a premium rate)
• Permanent contract

Responsibilities
• Goods in – receiving and sorting goods, unloading containers
• Goods out – picking orders and arranging relevant paperwork
• Movement and storage of stock using the LLOP
• Safety checks prior to FLT operation.
• Accurate picking and put away using paper documents.
Qualifications / Experience
• Must have a valid LLOP licence (or an inhouse licence and be willing to do a conversion course)
• Must have experience as a LLOP
• You must be physically fit as the role will involve manual handling
• A good eye for detail as you will need to complete paperwork accurately
• Communicate well to managers and other members of your team
• Computer literate as some date input maybe required
• The ability to work alone as well as part of a team
