Job Role
This is a new opportunity for a garment technologist/designer to join their friendly team.
Your daily activity will be to support the production and development team, liaising between the two, resolving any issues that may arise. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the garment production process. Candidates will need to have a good background in Sewing line configuration, pattern cutting, and quality control within the garment industry
Typical Duties will involve
Product specification creation - using Excel and Adobe Illustrator
Create product BoM's, routings and costings.
Sewing line configuration to optimize production efficiency.
Sample garments for production orders with sub-contractors, garment creation
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within sewing lines, with a strong understanding of garment design and
production processes.
- Pattern cutting and sewing line configuration.
- Experienced with time studies for garment production processes.
- Intermediate level Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator, garment CAD packages
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for managing production processes.
- BA Fashion Design or Fashion technology
- 5 years proven experience within garment manufacturing or garment design - desirable
