Arcare Homes are a family run business, we have several well established residential care homes, throughout Wolverhampton, Southport and Suffolk. We are a progressive care provider offering a relaxed, homely environment for adults with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge, with good CQC ratings across all areas.
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Southport team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across our 3 sites. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for all our service users and support workers.
An enhanced DBS check is required.

Salary: Minimum wage
Day shift - 10am - 3pm (negotiable)

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Sanitize and disinfect surfaces to prevent the spread of germs
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the senior management
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to interact with service users and support staff
- Ability to drive or commute to the workplace
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively
- Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely
