Transfer Team Health Care Assistant - Band 2
37.5 Hours per week- Full time - Permanent

The Urgent and Emergency Care Division is currently looking to recruit Transfer Team Healthcare Assistant's on a variety of shift patterns including 10:00-22:00 and 14:00-22:00 covering a Monday- Friday service.

You will be responsible for the collection and delivery of patients across the Hospital site to support with the flow of patients from both the Emergency Department and the Acute Medical Unit.

You will be part of a dedicated team working alongside the bed management and flow teams delivering this essential service to the Trust.

You will have excellent patient communication service skills, a good understanding of manual handling and safety and will lead by example in this operational role.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly formed team, gain experience of hospital flow and to help build key relationships between patients and staff.

The post holder is responsible for supporting the bed management and patient flow teams with the timely transfer of patients across the hospital site to support flow.

The post holder will at all times demonstrate and behave in a manner in accordance with Trust Policies and Ward/department protocols.
