Moorview Care Assistant ‘Supported Living’

Hours: 24 hours per week

Week 1

weekend 2 x 6 hr shifts 8-2 or 2-8

Weekday 2 x shifts of 6 hrs 8-2 or 2-8

Week 2

Weekday 4 x 6 hr shifts 8-2 or 2-8

Salary: £11.50ph

Moorview is a small friendly community, and our team of carers provide assistance to some of our elderly tenants to enable them to carry on living independently in their own flats. By joining our team, you are committed to providing the best standards of care and support to older and disabled service users who would like to continue to live in their own accommodation on Moorview Supported Living Scheme.

To deliver excellent care to our service users and assist with all aspects of their day to day living, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life.
The role will include providing help with personal care tasks in line with our service users designated care plans.

***Compassion, good communication skills and a calm and caring manner are essential for this role***

Candidate Requirements:

This post is subject to DBS disclosure & 2 satisfactory references.
Must be Kind, Caring, Patient + good with people.
Willingness to learn and maintain training.
Good communication.
QCF level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
Medication Trained
