Prospero Teaching are working closely with a successful primary school in Salford to recruit an experienced LSA to work with children with SEN. This is a full-time role to start in September.
The Learning Support Assistant will be working with children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and the role will involve supporting groups and individuals with learning activities. You will also deliver interventions to children with additional needs, on a personalised basis for individuals, and to groups of children with similar gaps in learning or with similar rates of progress.
You will need to have experience in a Learning Support Assistant role and to have good understanding of the curriculum and expectations for children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You must have knowledge and experience of delivering interventions programmes, how to support children with SEN, and have a compassionate, caring nature.
The Learning Support Assistant is required from September and is an ongoing role. Daily rate of pay ranges from £85 to £100.
Essential requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS
- Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant qualification and experience
- Professional references covering the last two full years
- Experience working in a UK Primary School
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
