Are you interested in working within our Family Hub Team to support households with their financial wellbeing?

Our Family Hubs are a local support centre for families with children and young people aged 0-19 years, ( 25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities ( SEND) needs.)

They are a place:

  • to get help, information, advice, guidance and support to overcome difficulties and build stronger relationships.
  • that provides a multiagency offer that can be accessed face to face or virtually.

We have a 2 year fixed term position available to cover East Staffordshire and Stafford districts that will commence in October 2024.

Main Responsibilities

As a Financial Wellbeing Family Hub Coach, you will:

  • actively engage and with households and encourage access to support
  • deliver direct workshops to households around their financial wellbeing
  • engage with key partners within the community to offer support where needed and promote services
  • signpost and support households to access support for their financial wellbeing
  • identify gaps in support locally and create solutions to overcome these
  • record and maintain data to inform reporting
The Ideal Candidate

Along with a passion for supporting Staffordshire residents, you will have:

  • experience in delivering training
  • understanding of how to appropriately signpost or intervene
  • an ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • an ability to work effectively in situations of conflict and resolve difficulties
  • the ability to work out in the community and be flexible to meet the needs of service users
