Paint Sprayer
Would you like to work for an award-winning boatbuilding company based in waterside offices near Falmouth, Cornwall - the perfect destination for sailors, surfers and beach lovers? Cockwells is globally respected in the marine industry and at the forefront of designing and building luxury motor launches and Superyacht tenders. The Company cleverly integrates traditional boatbuilding skills with innovative engineering and modern techniques to build vessels of the highest quality.
We’re looking for an experienced Sprayer to join our team on a full-time basis working 40 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 7.00am-5.30pm).
Your main duties will include:
· • Prepping before spraying and understanding what this involves
• Working in an enclosed space using appropriate PPE and Air fed mask
• Mixing of paints and primers, a knowledge of different lacquers and suitable primers
• Understand good preparation prior to final topcoat
• Use and maintain standard spray lacquer equipment such as a spray pump and gun
Essential Skills/Experience
· Have a keen eye for detail
· Be able to work independently or part of a team
· Experience Spraying with Gravity fed systems
Desirable Skills/Experience
· Marine or boat building experience preferred, but not essential
· Previously used HVLP and LVLP feed air system
· A valid UK driving license
PAY
Negotiable dependent on experience, in the region of £12-14 per hour
