CHCP have an exiting opportunity for two suitably qualified and experienced podiatrists to come and join our existing established podiatry service. We are looking for individuals who are wishing to progress their career and clinical skills and who have the skills and attributes required to work autonomously at band 6 level. CHCP were one of the first tranche sites to introduce the National Wound care Strategy Programme and have developed direct referral pathways to specialist services.

We require innovative clinicians who have excellent communication skills, resilience and a passion to drive change within the podiatry profession. The roles involve treatment of high risk patients, diabetic and non-diabetic foot ulcers, complex home visits, MSK podiatry intervention. There will also be a requirement to deliver preventative advice and guidance to patients and supervise other staff members and students. Individuals will be supported with their continuous professional development, with peer support and supervision and have opportunities to develop their leadership skills and participate in audit and research.

Informal discussions are welcomed. For further information, please contact Donna Welch, Podiatry Operations Manager on 07850853001 or email dwelch1@nhs.net

Work with us and you’ll be more than just a number. Our people are our shareholders and their thoughts and opinions are always heard; at CHCP you have a real voice.

Compassion is at the heart of our business; we’re a team of nearly 2,500 colleagues who work together to deliver first-class healthcare to thousands of people living in Hull, the East Riding, Knowsley and St Helens. Local diversity demands diverse roles, that’s why we have vacancies to suit everybody. No matter your role at CHCP, we’ll support you to thrive.
