Job Description:

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible supply work? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN TAs to join our team and support various schools across Leeds. If you have a passion for helping students with special educational needs thrive in their learning environment, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing tailored learning plans and strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional development of all students.
- Adapt learning materials and activities to ensure accessibility and engagement for students with varying abilities.
- Support students with personal care and mobility needs when required.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work across different schools and adapt to varying needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
