Personal Care Assistants are required to support a lady ex-teacher, in Hornby, living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) within her own home.
As a Care Assistant your duties will include some help with washing and dressing, household duties, daily stretches, preparing snacks and light meals, assisting with bed-time routines.
We are looking for a reliable, caring, personable, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience of working in care is desirable but not essential, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. The experienced employer will provide training.
The following shifts are available
Monday: 8.15am-2pm (break in the middle)
Monday: 9.15pm-11pm
Tuesday: 7.45am – 1pm
Tuesday 6.15pm-7.45pm
Wednesday: 8.30am-11.30am/12pm,
Wednesday: 6.15pm-7.45pm
Thursday: possible teatime call, 3 hours extra, 9.15pm-11pm
Alternate weeks: Thursday 4pm-6.45pm, and 5pm-6.45pm
Weekend: Saturday and Sunday – 8.30am-12.30pm/1pm
Weekend: Teatime call 6.15pm-7.45pm
Weekend: 9.30pm-11.00pm – to be worked as alternate weekends
Shifts are flexible and negotiable.
Rates of Pay:
Hourly rates between £15 per hour – £30 per hour
Night-time rates are £32.00 per call, and £38 per emergency call
