Summary

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Conference & Banqueting Supervisor to join the team at Chatsworth House, home to the Devonshire family, based in the heart of the stunning Derbyshire Peak District countryside.

The successful applicant will understand what it means to deliver amazing experiences and thrive on always exceeding our customers’ needs. With this passion for great service, they will support the Conference & Banqueting Manager with the efficient coordination, organisation and running of all catered events taking place at Chatsworth, from large scale weddings to intimate dinners plus a broad spectrum of corporate events.

You will enjoy being hands-on in this role, to ensure that required equipment and stock is ordered for each individual function and rooms are set correctly for the event and are maintained to a high standard.

With day to day supervision and motivation of the event team working at each event, we are looking for someone with previous supervisory experience in hospitality or similar, and specifically customer service experience within weddings, corporate meetings and VIP events environment.

This is a full-time, seasonal permanent role, meaning you will work during the open season from late March to early January each year. You will work 40 hours per week, five days out of seven. Flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business which will include evenings and weekends as necessary. Having your own transport is desirable as Chatsworth House is not on a direct bus route.
