Qualis UK Limited (Qualis) is an underwriting and claims managing general agent (MGA) specialising in mortgage and credit insurance in the UK. Qualis is an independent MGA wholly owned subsidiary of AMT Intermediaries Limited (AMT), forming part of AmTrust International.
We are now looking for a Relationships Manager (Mortgage) to join our London based team.
In this role you will be responsible for the sales, management & development of the mortgage insurance business working towards strategic targets and board approved objectives.
Other essential job functions include:
Developing comprehensive sales strategies, based on strong acquisition and build proactively a pipeline of opportunities for new clients, new products. And new channels. Build trusting relationship with clients at senior level.
Maintain strong and trusting relationships with carrier partners and other key stakeholders to ensure continued support, confidence and commitment.
Develop a comprehensive Client Relationship Strategy to retain and expand existing relationships.
Participate in the regular meetings with Insurer functions including but not limited to internal Claims, Agency, Legal and Compliance departments in order to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to have outstanding relationship management and networking experience and possess the ability to establish credibility, influence and build strong commercial relationships. Be able to demonstrate a solid track record of business development in the Insurance and in particular the mortgage industry. Technical insurance and banking PRA requirements and regulations knowledge is essential.
