Summary
We are excited to announce that a premier function venue and sports facility in Ealing, is currently seeking a talented and versatile maintenance handyman to join their dynamic team on a permanent contract. Salary £30-£32k depending on experience. Working Monday-Friday 40 hours a week, would need to be flexible for events and match days.
Job Duties
The Multi-skilled Handyman job will require:
Carrying out basic routine maintenance tasks including carpentry, decorating, lock repairs, basic plumbing tasks; cleaning/changing filters & visual inspections and basic electrical tasks; lamp changes and emergency light testing.
The maintenance handyman will respond promptly to emergency alarms and assist with fire alarm testing when required.
Completing planned preventative maintenance as well as responding to reactive maintenance requests from the grounds team.
Additional related duties; undertaking basic gardening work such as mowing, strimming, and weeding as needed by the grounds team.
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a multi-skilled handyman
A Full UK driving license is essential.
Excellent communication ability
Confident working at height (less than 10m on occasions)
Understanding of health and safety procedures would be essential.
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Well organized and apt in problem-solving
Attention to detail
Reliable & Flexible
Interest in sports (especially professional) is beneficial but not required
Eligible to work in the UK
Occasional work off site may be required based on the wider needs of the business

Job Offer
Permanent Contract
Salary £30k - £32k - depending on experience
40 hours per week (5 days across 7) (Mostly Monday – Friday but with flexibility to work evenings & weekends for match days and larger events)
Paid overtime
20 days annual leave/ annum plus bank holidays
Annual leave increases from the second year
