We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Maths Tutor to join our team in
Harrogate. This part-time, short-term role is an excellent opportunity to work with 16-19-year-old's enrolled in a Health and Beauty course, providing essential support for their GCSE Maths studies.
Position Details:
- Location: Harrogate
- Start Date: Week commencing 2nd or 9th September
- Duration: 2 months (short-term)
- Schedule: Tuesdays, 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM
- Age Group: 16-19-year-old's (GCSE level)
- Subject: Maths (supporting students on a Health and Beauty course)
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Maths or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching Maths at the GCSE level is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
- A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused and engaging Maths tuition to students preparing for their GCSEs.
- Tailor lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to aid their learning.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Work closely with college staff to ensure the tutoring aligns with the broader curriculum.
