Summary

Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant/ Team Leader to join our team based in The Paddocks Extra Care Scheme in Chipping Norton Oxfordshire OX7

The Paddocks provides a mix of 44 one and two-bedroom apartments with many on-site facilities including a hair salon, post office, restaurant and therapy room. Residents can participate in a number of regular activities such as movie evenings, curling, bingo and more.

About the role

As a Team Leader you will provide support to our extra care complex, providing specialised support to individuals. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.

You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions / meetings and support to the Care Workers. The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Care Workers ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community.

You will also be required participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis’ housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal commination skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.

This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
