Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic Graduate Acquisition or Planning Surveyors to join our dynamic team. Under the guidance of our Senior Acquisition & Planning Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in acquiring and upgrading telecommunication installations.
What you will learn:
-Liaise and Negotiate: Engage with landlords and third parties to secure the necessary rights for telecom installations.
-Portfolio Management: Take charge of a portfolio of sites, handling all related activities including desktop evaluations, site searches, site visits, drafting and negotiating terms, and client reporting.
-Site Identification: Identify and investigate sites that meet our clients' operational needs, managing the acquisition process from start to finish.
-Accuracy in Drawings: Ensure all drawings are accurate and fit for purpose from the outset.
-Consultation and Negotiation: Gain knowledge in pre-application consultations and negotiate with landlords and planning authorities.
-Preparation of Terms: Prepare and submit Heads of Terms to industry standards, with training on the Electronic Communication Code.
-Client Advisory: Advise clients on progress and support site progression through to legal completion.
What We're Looking For:
-Educational Background: Desirable - A degree in Property or Surveying, with a desire to achieve your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
-Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to inspire both individually and as part of a team.
-Experience: Previous property or surveying experience is desirable but not essential for this graduate role.
