The University of Central Lancashire is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated PA/Service Administrator to support the Learning & Information Services (LIS) Team.
The role holder will directly support members of the Leadership Team in a large professional service and will contribute to the further development of efficient working practices in a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a key role, responsible for coordinating LIS departmental administration activities, maintaining comprehensive and accessible record systems for documents and other online resources (such as SharePoint, MS Teams) diary management, arranging and servicing meetings (including minute-taking) and associated finance administration.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate and collaborate well with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Applicants will be educated to A Level or have appropriate equivalent experiential learning and will hold a IT qualification/must be digitally competent and proficient in the use of IT and Microsoft Office 365. It is key that you work well under pressure and have an appreciation of confidentiality, business priorities, deadlines, and customer requirements. An ability to prioritise a busy workload and multi-task is essential for the role.
