Location: Ford Farm, Ford Ln, Upton Grey, Basingstoke RG25 2RP
Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Role Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Forklift Technician with strong electrical expertise to join our well-equipped workshop in Basingstoke. While your primary role will involve electrical and mechanical work on forklifts and material handling equipment, you will also play a key role in guiding other team members and contributing to the smooth operation of our workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on forklifts and material handling equipment.
-Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
-Ensure all completed work meets safety and quality standards.
-Assist with managing the workshop and supporting other team members.
-Occasionally travel to off-site locations for service and repair work.
What We’re Looking For:
-Strong electrical engineering experience, particularly with forklifts or similar equipment.
-Mechanical experience and qualifications are also important.
-Ability to diagnose and solve problems, especially electrical faults.
-Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
-Willingness to mentor and support less experienced engineers.
-A valid driver’s license and your own transport (our location is rural).
-Commitment to following health and safety procedures.
--English language proficiency at a minimum of B1 level is required for sponsorship candidates.
