Cleaner sought for Part time job in St Albans
Domestic cleaners sought to work in private households in St Albans (and other areas) carrying out general cleaning and other house cleaning tasks. This is part-time up to a maximum of 20 hours a week, and often done while the homeowner is at work. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner wants. But they can include any of the following and maybe more:
- dusting and polishing furniture
- cleaning windows
- vacuuming carpets
- mopping floor tiles
- ironing clothes
- washing up pots and pans
For the position, you need:
- To enjoy undertaking practical tasks.
- To be dependable and motivated.
- Have knowledge of using household cleaning equipment and materials.
- The ability to work without being supervised.
- To have high cleaning standards.
- To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if required. Cleaners could be asked to do a one off blitz clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials shall be provided by the customer. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.
