Pay
£13.71 + £1.50 per hour attendance bonus
Working Hours
07:30am - 16:30pm
Duties Building cages by tying/welding steel reinforcement bars Fabricating steel reinforcements like footing pads, beams, or special units Following engineering or technical plans to set out the work area Collaborating with engineering designers, and construction workers Determining the required materials for a project based on the building plans Using power and hand tools to perform daily activities including to bend and cut mesh or bars Reading and interpreting technical specifications and blueprints Measuring and cutting steel bars correctly Bending and laying out steel bars, rods, and mesh as per the specifications Joining steel bars using fitting spacers and by welding Setting up and positioning steel bars, plates, and other steel units Benefits & Requirements: Hourly rate as above (not age dependent) 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Ongoing Assignment Overtime Available Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
