VIVO provides facilities management and accommodation maintenance for the UK military and its partners. VIVO embodies both experience and innovation.
Location: MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol, BS34 8JH with travel to other sites within 3 mile radiusWorking Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Hours flexible between 7AM and 7PM. On call 1 in 10 weeks.
Salary: Up to £36,000 dependent on experience

Within VIVO we are currently recruiting for a maintenance Electrician to undertake Facilities Maintenance tasks on MOD Abbey Wood and the surrounding area.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working within a team of 8 engineers, you will be performing maintenance tasks such as lighting checks, battery checks and responding to any electrical reactive repairs on commercial buildings such as offices and warehouses, for which you will ensure are compliant in accordance with JSP375.

You will work as part of the on-site engineering team and daily tasks will be allocated via tablet device or paper-based task instruction. This role will also see you carry out reactive repairs / callouts in a timely manner and this will involve participating in an on-call rota to cover emergency call outs during non-core hours.  

Within the team there will be training opportunities to further develop skills and experience into other roles if desired.
   

What you’ll need to do this role 

First of all, it is essential that you hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation work or equivalent, along with a C&G 2382 18th Edition. It is also essential that you have passed the Practical Performance Assessment test (AM2) and can demonstrate this.

As part of this role will customer and client facing, excellent communication skills are required.

This role will include travel within multiple locations so you must hold a full, clean UK driving licence. A company van will be provided for business use, that can be used for personal use if privately taxed.
   
It is desirable that you have experience of operating within either an MOD or Construction/Property Maintenance environment. 

You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
