Interior Designer Position at Hallmark Care Homes
Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Office based in Billericay with travel and occasional overnight stays required to other sites

We are looking for talented Interior Designers to join our team and help us enhance the living spaces within our care homes. Role Overview:
As an Interior Designer at Hallmark Care Homes, you will be instrumental in shaping the aesthetic and functional aspects of our care homes. Your role will include:
Client Engagement: Participate in meetings to discuss and refine design plans based on feedback from initial concepts to final construction.
Design Creation: Oversee and create conceptual sketches, illustrations, and detailed plans that align with Hallmark's preferences, ensuring they meet our style and ergonomic standards.
Project Management: Manage the entire design process from concept to completion, including liaising with contractors, architects, and technical teams. Ensure all designs meet project budgets and timelines.
On-Site Coordination: Oversee site meetings, manage fit-out periods (2-3 weeks per home), and travel to various sites across the UK, including new builds and existing homes.
Budget Management: Work within specified budgets for interior design elements, including bespoke joinery, lighting, and furniture, fittings, and equipment (FFE).
Team Support: Assist the interior design team on other projects as needed to meet business deadlines.
Required Skills:
Education: Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the field, with at least 2 years in the UK.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Vectorworks and Microsoft Office.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of BS standards, industry requirements for performance, and Health and Safety regulations.
Site Experience: Confidence in managing site meetings and making quick decisions when required.
