What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.

Our day opportunities site located in Hereford city centre supports 25 people to get the best out of every day. We need people like you to ensure they can achieve their own personal goals and live their best life!

We are looking for flexible and open-minded people to join our team. If you are energetic and love trying new activities and are passionate about helping people to access their community, then we want to hear from you.

Whilst our location is in the city centre we do have free onsite parking. As a bank support worker you’ll be picking up shifts on an ad hoc basis and your working hours will be 9.15am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence

Why Join Us?

What will we do?

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Bank Support Worker. We can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all trips out and artwork. We also support people to take their medication, make healthy lifestyle choices or maintain their home in a way they are safe and well.
It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!
If you want to empower people to live the life they choose and you share our values… Apply to become a Support Worker today.
