Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our growing, established & family run promotional products business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the promotional industry and sales environment and the ability to drive growth and build a successful sales team.

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all sales operations, developing and executing strategic sales plans, building a high-performing sales team, and driving the achievement of sales targets. You must have strong leadership skills, CRM experience, and the ability to manage, motivate, and support a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed company sales targets and objectives.
Team Building & Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to create a top-performing sales team. Lead by example and foster a positive sales culture.
Sales Growth: Identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and expand the customer base within the promotional products industry.
Target Achievement: Ensure that individual and team sales targets are met consistently. Regularly monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
CRM Management: Effectively utilize CRM systems to manage the sales pipeline, track performance metrics, and generate accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and production teams to ensure the seamless delivery of promotional products and services.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to position the company as a leader in the promotional industry.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role, preferably within the promotional products industry.
CRM Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in using CRM systems for sales tracking, lead management, and reporting.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the promotional products industry, including sales processes, trends, and customer needs.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
Analytical: Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales performance, forecast trends, and develop actionable plans for growth.
Results-Oriented: Driven by results and a desire to exceed targets, with a proactive approach to business development.
