Do you want to join a friendly and dynamic team that supports the delivery of medical and dental education for the healthcare workforce?

We’re seeking a Faculty Development and Learner Support (FDLS) Officer to provide a broad range of business and administrative support to the medical and dental workforce, training and education (WT&E) team across the South West.

The post-holder will be a key member of the team whose overarching goal will be to enable the delivery of an exciting educational programme. This includes supporting a variety of learning and developmental opportunities for our doctors and dentists in training, as well as our senior educators.

You’ll undertake a variety of tasks including co-ordination of workstream and team functions, monitoring progress against delivery of work programmes and administration of financial processes. Working closely with the FDLS Team Manager as the interface between Senior Management you’ll build strong relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external. In addition, they must possess excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload and multi-task a variety of demands on their time.
