Job Brief
Fuzion 4 has opportunities for enthusiastic Fire & Security Installation Technicians to become part of our growing team. As part of our team, you will receive ongoing training, support and development. We have great opportunities to help install and maintain work for our existing and new client base. Opportunities in the domestic and commercial sectors with the provision of a wide range of fire & security services.
The role requires an experienced, flexible, and highly motivated individual who is capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a team.
Contractual Information
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm with a 30minute unpaid break for lunch
Standby Duties: Paid retainer plus paid call outs. 4 days on, rotated amongst all technicians.
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000
Sign-on Bonus: 10% of the annual salary (2.5% after successful completion of 3-month probation, further 5% after 6-months and remaining 2.5% after 1-year). Subject to qualifying terms.
You will receive 23 days of paid holiday plus all UK statutory Bank Holidays, which increases with time served. You will also be auto-enrolled onto the workplace pension scheme after successful completion on 3-month probation, which you can opt out of should you choose.
You will be provided with the following:
• Company Van (business use only)
• Company Uniform
• Company Laptop (business use only)
• Company Mobile Phone (business use only)
Experience
The candidate should have 5 years solid installation background and should:
• Be able to identify and rectify faults across all disciplines
• Have experience in industrial, commercial, and domestic installations & maintenance
• Have comprehensive knowledge base of multiple manufacturers equipment
• Have basic IT skills: MS Word, MS Outlook
Skills & Competencies Required (Technical & Practical Experience)
• Commercial, industrial and domestic installations of varying sizes
• Ability to install systems on all areas of fire & security to the relevant industry standards (BAFE and NSI Gold)
• Experience working with the following systems:
Hikvision
Paxton
Scantronic
Texecom
Galaxy
Morley/Kentec Fire
Nurse Call Systems
The ability to compile comprehensive installation documents will be essential in this role. An understanding of electronic devices (mobile phone and tablet) will also be required for document completion and submission.
