The Media and Television Production course at the University of Central Lancashire have a fantastic reputation within the industry. The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the media and television industry, along with practical skills and knowledge that are highly valued by employers.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Lecturer in TV Production. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Television and Media Production in our state-of-the-art facilities, which include a UHD 4K multi-camera television studio, remote video podcast studio, virtual sets, and 4K editing booths. These cutting-edge facilities provide students with hands-on experience using the latest technology and equipment in the industry.
We are looking for a positive and passionate individual who is dedicated to providing students with practical experience and career opportunities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with students on live broadcasts, produce content for major networks like SKY TV, and help students gain essential broadcast credits as they learn. Experience in Sports Media Production is a significant advantage.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to learning and teaching, a deep passion for the subject, and a willingness to work effectively and constructively with students. Candidates must be student-focused and possess Higher Education delivery experience and/or relevant industry experience. A good honours degree (or equivalent) and Masters qualification in a relevant subject is essential, as are current industry connections.
