Join us as a Securitisation & Portfolio Derivatives Structuring Specialist
The Securitisation & Portfolio Derivative Structuring team work within NatWest Markets’ Private Financing business. The team provides structuring of hedging solutions for granular asset portfolios, delivering products for the risk management of interest rate, FX, prepayment, credit and/or ratings risk.
Customers include Financial Institutions, Structured Finance Institutions, Sponsors and Specialist Lenders and hedging often relates to warehouse securitisations, public securitisations, covered bonds, or other structured financing arrangements.
The Securitisation & Portfolio Derivatives business also has a long-standing focus on automation and application of technology and works closely with teams in NWM Digital for delivery of our hedging products.
- You’ll support the structuring and execution of Securitisation & Portfolio Derivate transactions, working with clients, client facing teams, Trading, Compliance & Conduct, and other functions as required
- Working as part of a larger deal team, you’ll provide multiple products to clients while gaining exposure to a variety of asset types including mortgages, equity release products, consumer loans, auto loans, credit cards, and SME loans

What you'll do
Working closely with an array of colleagues across NatWest Markets, you’ll identify client needs and structure suitable transactions. As such, you’ll take ownership to deliver and execute transactions efficiently.
In addition to this, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting pricing and marketing of customer hedging transactions,
- Reviewing and documenting key transaction terms and risks in order to obtain stakeholder support, timely delivery and execution of transactions
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of various products to make sure you meet clients’ needs
- Building strong and trusted stakeholder relationships
- Complying with all relevant policies
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with a broad understanding of interest rate and cross-currency derivatives. You’ll hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and you’ll ideally have experience of structured finance transactions.
We’re also looking for:
- High quality communication, influencing, and quantitative skills
- Someone highly motivated with an appetite to learn and engage with colleagues in a collaborative environment
