Position: I-Joist Designer
Location: Harlow Engineered Floors, Loughborough, LE11 5GW
Salary: Competitive Salary
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 8.15am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday, with 1 hours lunch
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated I-Joist Designer to join our team in Harlow Engineered Floors, Loughborough, LE11 5GW. The I-Joist Designer will utilise design software to design I Joists in accordance with customers detailed drawings for use in Floor and Roof structures.
What you’ll be doing as I-Joist Designer:
Designing I joists to meet customer specification.
Quoting of appropriate materials at the correct margins to the end user.
Liaising with customers directly whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service, logging customer feedback.
Completing designs/projects in a timely manner.
Keeping key account designs up to date
Ensuring any amendments, tasks and customer responses are actioned in a timely manner.
Issuing quotations to customers.
Your Skills:
Good understanding of technical information relating to floor designs and on site install.
Be able to relay relevant information to the correct departments.
Great communication and customer service.
