Summary
Are you an experienced programme management professional with extensive expertise in primary care? We're seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as theAssistant Director for Primary Care Contracting and Oversight.
In this key role, you will lead the assurance function for primary care commissioning activities, including those delegated to ICBs, oversee the daily management of the PMO function, and design and deliver the Integrated Data Strategy for the Southeast region. By enhancing internal and external reporting capabilities, you will ensure data is utilised to drive effective decision-making, and track programme and project delivery and outcomes.

Duties
PMO maturity development:
• Responsible for the daily management of an effective PMO function.
• Establish and build strong relationships with Regional Finance and the Regional Delivery Unit.
• Define reporting processes to reduce reporting burden. Be responsible for the completion of wider national reports.
Data strategy development:
• Lead the development of the INP data strategy to improve regional and ICB oversight on project delivery and outcomes.
• Work with national and ICB counterparts.
• Seek the support of wider partners and third-party organisations. Create proof of concepts to ‘test & learn’ ideas with senior stakeholders.
Primary Care commissioning assurance:
• Lead the assurance function for Primary Care commissioning activities, both retained and delegated.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders and provide the right-level of information to the Portfolio Director.
Team development and relationship management:
• Encourage others and listen to other points of view. Establish a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Act as a role model for other members of the workstream and team as a whole, demonstrating the core values of the organisation and benefits of matrix working.
• Contribute to the development of the business of NHS Employers and business development opportunities as they arise.
