Summary

Petals Dog Grooming, is a private residential based groomers located in Mile Oak, Tamworth. Our salon is opening November 2024. We're seeking a full time & part time, passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best.

The Ideal Candidate:
• MUST have level 2 or 3 City & Guilds or OCN Qualification.
• Ideally at least 2 years’ experience but not essential.
• Must be able to groom all breeds from start to finish with no help and in good
time.
• Be confident in all breed standard, pet trims and grooming practices.
• Must have good communication skills and be as much a people person as dog
person, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service.
• Have a CAN DO attitude with ability to use own initiative.
• A team player! we are a small close-knit team that all pull together.

CANDIDATE ROLE:
• Groom at least 2/4 dogs a day from start to finish to a high-quality finish.
• Book dogs in and out of appointments.
• Communicate well with customers, answering phone and messages.
• Use software for booking appointments and registering customers.
• Deal with payments.
• Keep salon and equipment in a high standard of cleanliness.

Rate of pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
