Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for reliable and organised individual to become a Retail Assistant, with our Dunfermline based bakery client.
What's on offer? Combined with excellent career progression opportunities, extensive training, supportive working environment and ongoing part-time work; you'll be paid up to £11.64 per hour.
We have the following hours available per week (all within the stores open hours of 5am to 6:30pm):
- 26 hours
- 17 hours
- 12 hours
- Flexible
Working as a Retail Assistant, your role will be centred around providing excellent service to customers, ensuring that everyone who comes into the bakery has a great experience.
- Serving customers, providing excellent customer service
- Cash management (cash handling, card transactions, gift cards)
- Assisting with and maintaining merchandising activities and retail standards
- Rotate and replenish stock on the shop floor
- Undertake general cleaning duties
- Answer any questions from customers
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
To be successful you will ideally have previous experience in a customer service/sales environment. Plus, have a polite, friendly and approachable manner; be organised and able to work on your own and as part of a team; be able to remain calm and cope well on a busy shop floor. As well as:
- Be a charismatic and positive individual with an outgoing personality
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Great time management and multitasking skills
