Summary


We have a great opportunity for a Team Administrator to join our Community Paediatrics Team. The role is based at Upton Hospital, Fir Tree House, with an opportunity for flexible working hours.

We are looking for someone with proven administration experience who will be able to take on administration responsibilities such as manging electronic mail inboxes, making and answering telephone calls with service users, management of referrals, ordering medical and stationery supplies, covering reception and general admin tasks.

You will be joining an excellent team who can only be described as one big happy family, who work very hard to seamlessly support the children, families and supporting services. • To act as the Team Administrator for the Community Paediatricians and act on their behalf within departmental guidelines.

• To independently provide comprehensive administrative support inclusive of referrals, ECHArequests, booking appointments, internal and external telephone calls, sending out correspondence, filing, updating patient records,discharge,and archiving.

• To ensure good communications aremaintainedacross the service; being the first point of contact with external agencies/stakeholders/service users/locality.

• To providereception cover andadministrative support to themedicalsecretaries andconsultants, including booking appointments, sending out correspondence and updating electronic patient records.

The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role:
• Previous knowledge and experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment.
• Experience in secretarial/administrative work, undertaking a full range of administrative duties.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, to be able to work unsupervised and on your own initiative, in addition to being able to manage your own workload.
• Intermediate keyboard skills and the ability to use IT packages such as Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel, and experience of using software packages.
• Being reliable and having a good sense of humour is a must.
