About the RoleIn this role, you will be entrusted with the safety and security of religious buildings, protecting the people, property, and assets within. This position is about more than just security - it's about providing a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for people of all backgrounds.

You will need to adapt your communication style to interact with a wide variety of individuals, including children, vulnerable adults, and those who may have limited English skills. What We're Looking For:

-Experience: A minimum of two years of security experience.

-Licensing: Valid SIA License required.

-We will conduct EDBS Enhanced vetting so would expect you to be able to pass it.

-Cultural Sensitivity: You'll work in environments where different religious beliefs are practiced, so understanding and respecting cultural differences is crucial.

-Communication Skills: Ability to engage sensitively with a wide range of individuals.

-Dependability: A reliable, consistent presence on-site is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
-Be the friendly, professional face of security, creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone on site.

-Handle any safety incidents or security issues with professionalism and care, taking swift and appropriate action when needed.

-Perform routine building and property patrols, manage health and safety incidents, oversee access control, handle lost property, and more.

-Act as the primary point of contact for visitors, providing support "at point of need" to ensure their safety and security.
