Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Educational Psychologist (MM2) to join our team. As an Educational Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing a range of psychological services to support students, parents, and staff members in educational settings. You will use your expertise to assess learning and behavioral difficulties, develop appropriate intervention plans, and improve overall learning outcomes. Responsibilities
Conduct individual psychoeducational assessments to identify and diagnose learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral issues.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop personalized intervention plans for students with diverse needs.
Provide support and guidance to parents and teachers to help them understand and meet the educational and emotional needs of students.
Deliver evidence-based interventions to students with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties, including counseling, therapy, and behavioral interventions.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans and make necessary adjustments to ensure students' progress.
Provide professional development and training sessions to educators and staff members on topics related to psychology and child development.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in educational psychology, and apply this knowledge to enhance best practices within the organization.
Requirements
A master's degree or higher in educational psychology or a related field.
Certification or licensure as an Educational Psychologist.
Proven experience working as an Educational Psychologist in a school or education setting.
In-depth knowledge of cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral development in children and adolescents.
Familiarity with a range of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to educational psychology and special education.
Passion for working with students and a commitment to their overall well-being and success.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Rate: £500.00
