Summary


To carry out general portering duties to & from theatres, wards & departments & SSDU Hub.

To support in general house keeping and comprehensive stock management within the sterile store rooms on a daily basis.

The post holder will be a member of the SSDU Hub team & will be required to adopt a flexible attitude & encourage / expected to develop skills to enable them to fulfill the responsibilities set out.

1.To provide an effective and efficient collection & delivery service to and from theatres & other departments for used & sterile goods

2.To use appropriate procedures regarding traceability (IMS–Tracking System)

3.General housekeeping and comprehensive stock management within the sterile store rooms

4.Assist and support with auditing “out of date” instrumentation and sending for appropriate reprocessing

5. Stock rotation, shelf labelling for existing & new sets.
