£14.82 per hour
40 hours per week, working across 4 days on a 2 week rolling rota and alternate weekends off
Shifts: 7am – 5pm

Based in the heart of bustling Lawley, our stunning 66-bedded Nursing home for older adults offers unrivalled modern facilities, including salon, tranquil lounge and garden rooms, cinema and tearoom.
Here at Telford Hall, we provide an exceptional standard of specialist nursing, palliative and dementia care to our residents, with a particular focus on nurturing each individual to achieve personal goals and to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.
As a 2nd Chef at our home, your role may involve:
Supporting the Head Chef and the rest of the catering team with providing fresh, home-cooked meals from scratch to our residents
Delivering the highest possible culinary standards to residents by providing nutritious, well-balanced and appetising meals from a clean, safe and hygienic environment
Supporting with controlling the catering budget
Maintaining a hygienic and compliant working environment
Supporting with all day to day aspects of the catering operation
Compliance with quality and safety standards
Submitting food orders
Undertaking any necessary training

What are we looking for?
Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment
A passion for producing fresh, home cooked food, from scratch to the highest standards.
Friendly and enthusiastic disposition, ability to integrate well with others.
Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads.
Preferably NVQ level 2 in food hygiene
