Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role with an organisation that makes a difference in your community?

TLS Social Care ltd is looking for an experienced part time Business Support/HR assistant on a fixed term contract for 6 months to join our friendly team.

Key responsibilities include:

· Support with Monthly completion of KPI statistics by liaising with Service Managers to ensure all data is correct and provided to the Business Manager in a timely fashion.

· Provide support to the Business Development Manager in producing and distributing the company’s quarterly newsletter.

· To support with the collation and reporting of the Annual Staff Survey.

· Assisting with recruitment, reviewing CV’s and arranging interviews.

· Run regular reports on DBS and Right to Work expiry dates and liaise with the Managers to ensure all staff are compliant.

· Liaising with our HR and Legal Team for support and guidance around HR related queries.

· Maintaining accurate employee personnel records.

· Assisting with preparing offer letters and contracts of employment.

· Arranging company benefits.

· Booking staff training, maintaining training and competency records.

· Maintaining sickness records and undertaking back to work interviews.

· Maintaining company calendar for holidays, sickness, appointments etc.

· Assisting with disciplinary meetings / investigations.

· Processing leavers.

· Assisting with management of the timesheet system.

· Contributing ideas for improving HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

· Ensuring compliancy with relevant labour laws, regulations, and company policies.


Essential
· Strong background in HR , minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR or Business Support role.
· Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling sensitive information.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
· Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information and handle employee data with discretion
· Excellent listening and questioning skills to fully understand an employee’s problem and provide a useful solution
· Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously
· Able to prioritise work effectively
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Full clean Driving License with own car
