Production Operative
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative within our Cream Filling department at our Bellshill Dairy site.
This role will involve operating manufacturing machinery in order to produce the best quality product. You will need to have a strong team working ethic, be results driven and proactive.
Contract: Full Time / Permanent (39 hours)
Salary: Starting from £12.19 per hour (Base pay) plus the following premiums:
1.25 x Basic Hourly Rate (Sat Working)1.5 x Basic Hourly Rate (Sun Working)
2 x Basic Hourly Rate (Public Holidays)23% Basic Hourly Rate (Unsociable Hours (6pm
- 4am))2 x Basic Hourly Rate (Public Holidays)1.5 x Basic hourly Rate (overtime) Shift Pattern: Weekly rotational shifts AM / PM, 5 out of 7 days
Location: Bellshill
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Operate our machinery and follow processes effectively
- Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace, including cleaning activities where required
- System upkeep and related responsibilities.
- Quality control inspection, assuring customer expectations are maintained
- Materials replenishment as required
- First line maintenance checks
Muller Responsibilities as a Production Machine Operator:
- Has an active role to play in continuously improving our business.
- To be an active part of small teams with operational excellence objectives.
- To have opportunities to deliver own ideas to improve our business.
- Understands the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business objectives.
- Aware of how current performance impacts the business.
- Health and safety of self and others.
Demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge within the following:
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Capability & Accountability
- A flexible approach; able to adapt to changing daily production plans
- A good listener/communicator
- Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skills
- Effective team worker
