This is an exciting opportunity for aBand 5 Occupational Therapist looking to progress into a Band 6 role within a specialist Neurorehabilitation team to jointheEast Berkshire Earlier Supported Discharge(ESD)Team for Strokeon apermanentcontractin afulltimeroleworking37.5 hours.This post includes London Fringe Weighting Higher Cost of Living Allowance.


We are seeking a HCPC registered Band 5 Occupational Therapist with an interest in Neuro Rehab and with experience in the area either since or prior to qualification. We will consider new graduates and would be happy to discuss the role further with you.The successful applicant will be supported in a development post to Band 6dependent on reaching the required competencies.If however you are applying and already meet the required competencies of the Band 6 role as described in the advert, then this can be considered as your entry point.


We are looking for a professional, motivated,flexibleand compassionateOccupationalTherapist with excellent communication skills to provide Neuro rehabilitation as a valued member of our MDT.


You will be able to work as part of a team,as well as have experience working in patients’ homes. You will be able to manage your own caseload working collaboratively with anexperienced multi-disciplinary team which includes Physiotherapists, Stroke Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists,Therapy Assistantsand Administrators.   





The post has an office base atSt Mark’s Hospital in Maidenhead. Clinical care will be provided in patients’ own homesacross East Berkshire, including Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead and Bracknell. The successful candidate must therefore be a car driver and have access to a car.
