Approach Personnel are pleased to be working with a reputable Ground Engineering and Civils contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator as part of their pre-construction team, working on lucrative UK projects.
This Senior Estimator role focuses around developing indepth, work-winning cost, labour and material analyses for Piled Retaining Wall tenders, bids and estimates for potential and existing clients.
Day-to-Day
As a Senior Estimator, here’s what your day could look like:
- Analysing site drawings, photos and survey reports in order to produce accurate and fair projections of cost, material and labour
- Working alongside the rest of the pre-construction and bid team to ensure pipelines, service quality and timescales are managed effectively
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers to acquire realistic costing for materials and labour
- Being a vital point of contact for clients regarding their projects, maintaining open lines of effective communication throughout each contract
About You
- Previous experience in a ground engineering, ground investigation or geotechnical based role
- Proven experience in an Estimating role
- Self-sufficient and Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and desire to progress
- Computer and Software Literate
- Full UK Clean Driving License
Salary and Contract Details
- Competitive Salary c.£50,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience
- Car Allowance of £500 per month
- 34 Days Annual Leave inc. Bank Holidays
